BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3th
The bonfire night was a great success, it was so warm that people were even picnicking. Thank you to everyone who
organised it.

Hi Me Hearty's, I'm Sir Guy 12th of Poynings. It's so kind of you to let me rest a while in your quaint little Pub. I
have heard rumours of a grand gathering soon. Am I invited?

Hold that steady chaps, I think I've got a bit of heart burn.

That's better, your getting the hang of it now.

We are live on radioactive.

Still glowing.
ET.

You said I would get a dignified lift to get a nice view of the fireworks.

I'm dying to throw this water over someone.

Don't panic, I'll put it out if there's a problem.

Is it Sheila or Dawn?

LAST YEAR - SATURDAY NOVEMBER 4th 2006
This years Fantastic Display was very well attended with only one disgruntled partygoer who started off getting a bit hot under
the collar but ended up as being just a lot of hot air. Many thanks to all those who worked hard to organise this great event.
A truly superb show. Thanks to Nicki for organising it, Mark for the field and to Phil, Helen and the lads for all their
effort in setting up the field, complete with generator and safety equipment. Thanks to Mikey for a great 11th Guy! And to all the
drummers and torch bearers who led the procession with the guy to the Blacksmiths field. Thanks to Rene’s son in law Neil Smith for the
torches and expert advice.
Unfortunately there was quite a shortfall on the gate takings possibly due to last years shortcomings! Thankfully the Royal Oak helped out
plus last year’s compensation.

I don't care what you say, it's nice and warm in the Oak and I'm staying here with my book.
Well, if you are going to carry me I'll come along

Would you like the Big Issue?

What's that big pile of rubbish? I am NOT going up
there

Well, if you insist.

Oi, it's a bit warm

Great view though I must give up
smoking

I've got a bad feeling about this!!
Gone.
