Minutes
The
Minutes of the previous meeting, as circulated, were
approved and duly signed by the Chairman.
2.
Matters
Arising
(a)
Insurance
The
Clerk had sent details of current Insurance Policy to Came
& Co, despite making phone contact nothing in writing
had been received. It was agreed to continue
to insure through Allianz Cornhill.
(b)
Honeywell
Farm
The
Clerk is to follow this up again from last
meeting.
(c)
Simon
Zec
The
Clerk had written to Simon asking that he continue with the
cutting of the cemetery and churchyard but to reduce the
number of hours he spends on the rest of the village in the
short term, due to budget. ML will endeavour to see
Simon to explain further.

Planning
(a)
Park
Wood – upgrade access road – despite objections from PC
regarding safety this was passed by MSDC
(b)
Rushfield
Paddock – two storey extension – the PC had made no objections
to this application
(c)
Rushfield
– Farm shop – the PC would object to this
application.

(a)
30mph
signs
Various parishioners had
commented that the signs at the roundabout were not visible
due to their positioning. The Clerk will ask Highway Rangers
to cut back hedges to increase visibility in the first
instance.
(b)
Transition
Group
Mike Airey had contacted the
Clerk about the possibility of forming a Transition
Group. He
explained what this was about and it was agreed that it
would be discussed further at the next PC meeting in
July. In the
meantime anyone interested in finding out more should
contact Mike direct.

Next Meeting
The next meeting of Poynings
PC will be held in the Village Hall at 7.00pm on Tuesday
1st July.
Meeting closed at 7.40pm and
was followed by the Annual Parish
Meeting.
