Open Garden - Newtimber Place
Although there has been a house on the site since pre-Norman times, the current structure was built in 1680. Surrounded by a moat, the manor house has a fantastic entrance hall, which was decorated in 1750 with Etruscan style frescoes.
NEXT OPEN DAY: SUNDAY 15th APRIL 2.00— 5.30 pm . That's been and gone, It was thoroughly enjoyed by all who went.
£3-50 admission (Children free) in aid of the National Gardens Scheme, which supports various charities.
Teas sold in aid of Newtimber Church.
