Last year - Saturday June 9th 2007

I hope you managed to make it this year, a record number of people attended and many stalls sold out.

Over £2,000 was raised which is a record.

Helen Woodhams from the Garage won the champayne throw and Helen Nunn won the champayne entrance ticket.

The weather was fantastic and quite a few red necks were spotted moving amongst the crowds. (Not me of course, or the American type).

As usual Badger, Fox and the Wise Owl put on a great show for the children although I did notice a few adults trying to pretend they weren't watching.

This year the Maypole re-appeared which was great fun although it did seem to get into a tangle at times.

Many thanks to all the people who helped and slaved away over hot stoves making cakes and things.

Here are a few photos of the Maypole. (Thanks to Helen Solomon) It seems you have to be called Helen to participate.
